The Judgement Day Bible Verses

22 On Judgment Day

Prophecies and Miracles Will Not Save False Teachers on Judgment Day

Matthew 7:22-23 (NKJV)

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

On Judgment Day, many false teachers will try to justify their actions by claiming that they did great things in God's name. They will say that they prophesied, cast out demons, and performed miracles. But God will reject them, saying, "I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!"

This passage teaches us that not all who claim to be Christians are truly saved. Some may even do great things in God's name, but if they are not living in obedience to Him, they will be rejected on Judgment Day. Genuine faith is not simply about knowing about God or doing things for Him. It is about having a personal relationship with Him and living in accordance with His will.

If you are not sure whether you are truly saved, I encourage you to examine your life and see if it lines up with God's Word. Are you living in obedience to Him? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If not, I urge you to repent of your sins and turn to Him today. He is waiting to forgive you and give you new life.
